Stupid question... But when does one go in for freshers week? Ie. When do the stalls for clubs and socs open?

Bonus question: what clubs and socs are you planning on joining?

Nine or ten am. Depending on how enthusiastic those running the stands are. :)

Hist, Phil, Players, Gamers, LGBT, Comedy, Poker.

if you get in early you'll get to see the stands without being crushed by the crowds, but it doesn't really matter

Swimming, GAA, Phil, Comedy, Maths, Physics, Players, Food&Drink, Sci Fi (dvd borrowing!), Cancer and now doubt some more

Oh, forgot Psychology. And *maybe* Comedy.

Also, the Trinity library has a surprising number of borrowable DVDs now.

Extremely off-topic, but is there classes to learn how to swim there?

I've to be in for 11 for registration and then have the library tour, at some stage after that I'll have a wander over. :) Joining Lawsoc, An Cumann Gaelach, the Literary Society, The Hist, The Phil, Trinity VDP and if any of the others are interesting enough I'll give them a look. Probably will only be able to afford joining one or two during Freshers' Week itself but I'll get around to them all eventually. :)

there are swimming lessons available from the sports centre. Not from the swimming club, but if you want to learn cheaper than the sports centre I'll teach you!
