Tethering - iPhone.

    So I'm at College now and i'm too cheap to buy a modem for my laptop so instead I wanna use tethering.. How ever.. I do not understand how to set up tethering on the laptop side of the whole thing. If someone can explain to me what I have to do to set up tethering on my laptop it would be excellent :)

    My laptop is a Vaio just incase you are wondering.

    My laptop picked up the connection automatically. Just enable it in the iPhone and connect using your USB. If it doesn't pick up automatically then manually select it by connecting to a new network and it should be in that list.

    pdanet is a great app for doing this. You can get it from cydia.

    Who are you with? Some operators charge extra for tethering.

    be very careful. if you dont have a package for tethering its very expensive.
