Can anyone exlpain what this means to them?
The Representitive is engaged in the business of selling insurance products on his or her own account as an independent Contractor, (Tied Agent, as defined in the Insurance Act 1989 or any amendment thereto):confused::confused::confused:

It means that, although the representative is selling policies for ABC Insurance Company, he or she is not an employee of ABC.

I imagine the definition of "tied agent" would explain it a little more clearly.
