    Hi folks,

Looking to pick up a new laptop. Budget is probably up to €800 but it's not a target. It's going to be mainly for internet, Microsoft Office, music library etc.

However I do want to play some of my old games on the machine. Nothing new, I suppose World of Warcraft or Half-Life 2, Oblivion would be the sort of games I'm talking about.

Any suggestions of what type of graphics card, process I should look for?

    Thanks!

ATI are the main graphics cards in ireland. Anything that says ATI with the number 5000 and above next to it will run old games just fine.

Thats it put simply. I can give you a more detailed response....but thats all you need to know really.:)

Oh an other common card is the Intel GMA HD. That can run many old games on at least low specs but isnt as good as the ATI range.
