    It was a fine directorial debut. Whilst his acting can be dubious he certainly showed skill in directing Gone Baby Gone.

    Uh, yes he can. He was acclaimed for Gone Baby Gone, the only film he's made thus far so he can only be judged on that, so therefore he is an acclaimed director. He's also getting acclaimed for this one.

    Hey, if you say acclaimed enough times, you begin to think it's not a real word. Awesome.

    There's always been something about Ben Affleck that I really just don't like. But I have to say, this looks like a very good movie.

    The whole Jennifer Lopez thing set him back years, he even says it himself, he's been in so many stinkers. think he'll make a real name for himself after this movie though.
