Spraying Before Ploughing

Thinking of ploughing a few acres in a few weeks time for reseeding in the spring, should I spray it now before ploughing and if so what spray should I use?

If you have an inspection you'll get a penalty, you have to establish a green cover within six weeks of spraying and are not allowed to plough and leave over the winter (though there was a derogation last year, you could plough in December)

Reseeded last week and sprayed 3 weeks earlier with roundup as I had some rushes and docs to deal with. Worked well but I think you are getting a bit late for reseeding.
