VRT Calculator - UK to ROI Audi A4 1.8T Convertible

    Hi there,

    Ive trying to find a 2004 Audi A4 1.8T convertible in either Ireland or the UK. Ive looked up the VRT calculator online on the revenues website, but it does not come up with a figure.

    Does anyone know an approximate cost to VRT a UK car with the following spec please?

    Audi A4 Convertible, 1.8T petrol, 2004, 40,000miles, UK price £8500, ROI retail €13500.

    The STATISTICAL CODE is 41386586 - enter this in and you should be on your way - it's quoting Eur2952

    Hi Dickie,

    Just a word of warning before you bring in a car from the UK.. NCT now looking after the VRT and and it seems that the NCT are charging more (a lot more) than the current VRO online calculator is showing... See this thread..

    Thanks all of you, much appreciated. I was struggling earlier. Seems the price difference of approximately €4000 between the UK and ROI is nearly taken up by the VRT so is in fact not worthwhile.

    Such a shame cars have to be so expensive over here!
