Yes, A few of my class mates did it I myself never bothered because the time I became aware of it I knew my password off by heart.

Found the link http://www.nuim.ie/changepassword but it doesnt work for me try contacting the Computer Centre http://computercentre.nuim.ie/contact/index.shtml

That link accesses ldap1 which is only available from inside the college network. Also, I'm not sure if it will work for students because the authorisation popup says "All valid NUIM staff", and not NUIM users.

Your best bet is calling into the Computer Centre
