I'm going to start this thread to discuss all aspects of the upcoming series of Sarah Jane Adventure (without going into spoiler territory thank you very much)
If you've never seen this series before, or have only caught the Tenth Doctor's appearance on the series then I heartily recommend you check out this program.
It is incredibly mature for a children's series, it's sometimes more mature then Torchwood.
Anyway onto Series 4, there was a trailer featured at the end of a full highlights package for CBBC
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB4QKCncJnMThis should be a good series, I believe the tentative launch date is October 11th.

    This too shall pass.

+1 to this - I believe that it's been far more consistent than "Doctor Who" has been and has had some good and mature story lines.

Can't agree with this enough. I think some people dismiss it as a 'kids' show because it's on CBBC, but it is very entertaining and well worth a watch.

    Androvax
Yay for this, he was the best baddie from Series 3, as ruthless as the Daleks should be
    Slitheen
Not-so-yay for this, but we'll see...

Still, looking forward to this, and only a week to wait, a nice little buffer until Christmas

just found these awesome teasers for the Death of the Doctor episode!

    spoilers are included:

    http://tardisspoilers.blogspot.com/2010/10/ten-tasty-teasers-and-promo-pic-from.html

    heres the teasers:

    1. Doctors 1, 2, 3, 4, 10 and 11 all make an appearance. [On film I guess as 1,2,3 are dead]

    2. There's mentions of Axons, Azal and Aggedor.

    3. "Smells like roast chicken!"

    4. The Brigadier is still stranded in Peru, while Liz Shaw is on the Moon.

    5. That's Groske, not Graske.

    6. The Doctor doesn't have to be white. And he can regenerate more than 12 times - a lot more! [rewriting the rules I wonder]

    7. "You look like someone's baked you!"

    8. Jo Jones (née Grant) has 7 children and (almost) 13 grandchildren.

    9. The Doctor might never look back, but Sarah Jane has discovered some interesting things using Google.

    10. "Accelerate the weave!"

I don't think we need separate threads for each episode so I'll just post it here

Who else watched episodes 1 and 2, The Nightmare Man?

I thought part 1 was average, nothing special and pretty standard, but part 2 was very good indeed.
I loved the interactions between K9 and Mr Smith, continuing on from last series (it's a sentient computer talking to a robot dog, what's not to love? :D), and I will miss it now K9 is off to Oxford. I actually felt sorry for Mr Smith when he said goodbye the second time :o

And the line with Sarah asking what wierd tech she needed to plug K9 into Mr Smith and going on about all the other odd stuff she used, only to be told she needed a USB cable was full of win :D

The ending with the united team being what defeated the Nightmare Man on the eve of Luke leaving for Oxford would have seemed cheesy in Doctor Who, but like a lot of material in SJA it works perfectly in the platform it's given.

The trailer for next week makes it look very similar to Enemy of the Bane from series 2, so I hope I'm wrong on that...

    Part 1: 5/10
    Part 2: 9/10

    Overall: 7/10

The series is off to a very strong start with that story. Once again Joseph Lidster comes up with a very strong character piece that was originally focused on Luke but then touched on the other characters hope and fears in the second episode. Lidster has proven on Torchwood and Sarah Jane that he's great with character pieces. I think he's earned a chance to flex his muscles on Doctor Who.

    This too shall pass.
