Getting immunization shots - is there a list of countries this is advised for?

    I know people going to Thailand need to get shots a few months in advance (it would suck to find this out a few days before you planned to go).

    And you'd need shots when visiting Africa, also.

    Where else?

    I'm guessing some places in south america, and those little islands above australia.

    Where do you find info about this? Is it possible that someone could order a flight to these places without having a clue that you need shots?

    Most vaccinations are just recommendations anyway, the only one required is Yellow Fever I think, and that depends on where you're travelling to/from.
