Free US Calls with google

Just finished up a 20 minute call to the US courtesy of google. If you're on gmail, there should be a "call phone" option in your chat window. you might have to install a plug in. Theres a charge for most other countries but the US is free.

It should be added that it's free calls to both landlines AND mobiles in the US and Canada.
The gf is currently talking to her dad as I type on his mobile. Really handy. Ends at the end of the year.

In your gmail, over on the left hand side in your chat contact list, you should see 'call phone'.

There is another thread on it here that gives you the link to install the plugin and mentions some other people's problems they were having. Like the one you are having. Think it's something to do with your language settings. Have a read in the link below
