Vistaprints nonexistant offer.

Vistaprint advertised an offer of 500 business cards for €5.
I thought "great offer" and firstly made sure that there wasn't a catch...nothing I could see, they weren't double sided and matt printing only...but that wasn't a problem.
So I waste time downloading their sizing template and design a card, upload it and register with vistaprint, then when I get to checkout a completely different and more expensive price list appears.

What's the deal with that?, it's basically vistaprint telling a lie to get you to go through the process of registering with them in the hope that you wont care about the extra charge. Is this legal?

    Bad form imo.

when ur making ur cards you probably selected a certain type or thickness of paper ,certain design or logo or specificatiion that raised the price

i doubt its illegal but its a bit sneaky ,similar to the old way ryanair used to autoselect insurance and you had to manually unselect it or ud be charged for it on every flight booking

Worked OK for me - I got the business cards I ordered and my only problem was with their courier who left the package outside the door - on the street pavement. As a result they will be getting no further orders from me. Another problem is their continuous spamming which goes on even when you opt not to receive special offers. That's the price you paying for trying to cut costs - peanuts and monkeys. :D

jd when did you make this order?

delllat - well i initially suspected they'd get me like that so i checked out the deal and i'm still 99% sure that my business card is the exact same as the ones offered....I just think that they are still advertising an offer that they've no intention of giving.....although I'd be happy to be wrong and to be able to get the offer.

Towards the end of last year. I found the quality and price OK but the product is of poorer quality than you would get here. I suppose that's all that you can you expect given that they are a fraction of the price. :)

I'll give it a second try, if i can get them at that price then I wouldn't mind quality being poorer.
