Half Regret / Half Excitement

    Hi guys,

I have a problem, or more of a predicament. Met a lovely girl last weekend, hit it off the usual. Had a date with her during the week which went really well, in contact most days and am meeting her again tonight.

Nothing wrong so far. The predicament is that I'm leaving the city to move for a new job tomorrow. I'll be moving to another city but will be back on a weekly basis for certain commitments. Now I haven't mentioned this. I realise I should have mentioned it before now but I didn't know how to bring it up to be honest. Now I think I kinda like this girl and we get on great. I think she likes me as well but it's too early to tell.

Just wondering does anyone know how I should handle this. I need to tell her. But it's only a second date and I don't know how to bring it up. Obviously I can't back out of the move but am half regretting having met her the other half really enjoying what happened over the last week.

    Please help!!

    Hey,

My advice would just be to tell her and be honest just say I like you and I don't know what will happen but how about we see how it goes and no hard feelings if the distance is too much of an issue. This is what I said to my boyfriend when I met him, i just asked could we play it by ear because we had nothing to lose if it didn't work out it was such early days and we've been together 7mths now and live in different citys because of work but its going well. I'm a firm believer in what is for us won't pass us, so if it meant to be ye'll keep going on dates and the relationship will grow.

Just be honest. If it is strong enough it will last the distance. If it doesn't. It probably wouldn't have lasted long term anyway even if relationship wasn't tested.
