Hi I am looking to buy new good quality leads that at least claim not to interfere with tone. Vovox leads are suppossed to be good. Elixir claim to make a low capatince lead. I would prefer a lead with the ground part expanded.

    Any Ideas?

Vovox are excellent but for the money buying the Evidence Audio Lyric HG in bulk (for example from lavacable) and soldering it yourself is the most economical/best way to go.

It is Dave Gilmour's cable of choice http://www.evidenceaudio.com//endorsements.html

and this is by no means just random choice; here is a bit more info on the scrutiny that gear is put under at his studio

Though, that said, this kind of scrutiny is unnecessary; I have yet to do an A/B between Evidence/Vovox etc. and generic cable where the difference hasn't been immediately audible to everyone present.

I just bought some cables from planet waves which were expensive enough but have a lifetime guarantee which is pretty cool as if the break they will be replaced straight away!

The custom cables are good (Blue packaging) or check out ZZYZX Bazic or the PitBulls. They are quite good.
