Cross Country Runnning Season

    I would like to take part in some cross country running events over the next few months. I have tried looking for an event calandar but had no luck. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Dublin Novices is on 3rd Oct AFAIK

    Other than that county boards and the AAI your best bets

    A few open events around the country also, Adamstown this weekend and the Gerry Farnam in the Park soon.

    The first BHAA cross country of the season is in Castleknock college on Sat Oct 9. It's a good series, if you're near Dublin.

    Hard workout? You'll get it!! The course is an old-school cross-country course. None of your namby-pamby parkland, bowling green surface yokes. 4 laps of a 1,500m course with 2 good hills to make your eyes bulge :D

    We used it for the Meath Novice last year and I can tell you, its testing.....
