Why is there no 'back' option in the online registration?

Seems a bit silly that there is no way of going back to make changes to previous stages of the online registration?

The idea is that you fill in each page correctly before moving on.
These people are going to college after all.

But, worst case scenario - can't you exit and start the process again? It's only about four pages long anyway, right?

    No you can't.

I'm just wondering because one one page it told me I had to pay 3700 euro or thereabouts, and now it's telling me 5800.

If you choose to pay fees later, at the end of registration it'll say the whole sum is due, including the amount that the government are funding. If you go into "fees due" afterwards, it'll tell you what you actually owe.

    I know it sucks!
It says I have to pay €5800. I guess you have to sort it out with the fees office!?!

Happened me too. Just rang the helpline and they reset the amount I had to pay.

I changed an optional course online last night because my time table conflicted. I had no problems. As said already, contact reghelp and theyll sort you out.

I presume that the registration script was developed by some of NUI Galway's top IT heads. You would think they would have included what is one of the most basic of facilities (a Back option).
