    Congrats to the Curragh on a tremendous victory in Castlebar winning the All Ireland against Nenagh... Let the party begin!! They have waited 127 years for this moment, but they are Pierce Purcell Shield Champions 2010!! :P

    Might not matter to you mate but it matters to the players and clubs that compete in it. Just cause it is not the elite end of low handicap golf doesn't lesson the achievement..

    Bollox. Coming through a qualifying stage where half the teams can barely break 90. The 4 BEST Curragh teams were a collective 67 over par in qualifying for goodness sake. Slightly less **** that the rest.

    Despite what that other clown thinks the Pierce Purcell is a competition that any club in Ireland would be proud to win and conratulations to The Curragh on a fine achievement.
