What could be the cause/solution of dim dash lights?

    well they are practically gone at this stage. indicators and warning lights are working fine, its really just the lights for the speedometer etc

    its my first car so I am a bit clueless but I am thinking bulb replacement or car battery? (maybe not car battery as everything else is working fine)

    Dunno about your car, but mine has a little recessed dial that I can rotate to increase/decrease the brightness. It's near the lights switch. Have you tried that?
