another digital piano query

Way back when I last played the piano, they came in 2 varieties : upright or grand. We don't have room for either in our house but recently I've been itching to practise a bit and relearn some lost skills.

I'm completely new to looking at digital pianos. All I need is something as realistic as possible (feel and sound) but in as small a package as possible. Is is possible to find something that will play like an acoustic piano but that I can put in the wardrobe when not in use? I've beenn tying myself in knots trying to deciper polyphonies, midi, weighted, semi weighted,......

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice.

If you need it to be weighted as close to a piano as possible, but portable,
you're only choice in my opinion is a stage piano or similar. They're quite
heavy, and will need a double braced x stand at least to mount on.

Depending on budget, I'd go for a Roland, or if looking for something cheaper,
    go for this maybe http://waltons.ie/Product/View.aspx?id=11658

Thanks for the reply Don B. I did try the Kurzweil in Promusica here in Cork at the weekend and really liked the feel of it. The others they had in stock all felt a bit toy-like. I've not tried a Roland yet though.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but I noticed that thomann seem to have lowered their price on the Kurzweil PC3X:

Works out nicely compared to Waltons, who were beating them on price originally, but now have raised their price to €2499!

Even though weighted keys will make it heavier for setting up/putting away, it can definitely feel more rewarding from a playing perspective. And some of the piano sounds on there are up with the best ever on a hardware based setup that I've played.

Thanks. The weight isn't really an issue. The space is the biggie for the cardboard box house we live in currently. After size, the next factor is that it feels as piano-like as possible so that I can easily play on the real thing when I get the chance.
