That's a great offer! I love Grolsch, I brew my own beer too but swing top bottles are quite expensive.

These actually work out cheaper than buying empty swing top bottles AND you get great beer already in them!

    Bargain.

Ah didnt even realise they were the closey lids ( presume swing top is the correct name )

Wouldnt keep the bottles myself but dead handy for someone like yourself brewing your own stuff?!

Does it take long to do BTW?

Yeah they're really handy, capping bottles can be quite a hassle so the swing tops come in handy.

Brewing can be done quickly but it really depends on what level ya want to brew at (there are a lot of beer Nazis out there)

I'm happy with the most basic level which is brewing from a can. I get all my supplies from www.homebrewwest.ie

A can makes about 20L of beer, generally costs less than €15 and can be drinkable in 2 weeks depending on which one you brew and how picky you are. It's very easy to do though but I'd advise getting a starter kit if you're interested in giving it a go.

There's a massive amount of info on brewing out there on boards and the internet. Everything you need to know you should be able to find here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1353
