ok so i went looking around for wheels yesterday ,ive never had the fitment measured proper but have found it on the net.

fitment is 114.3 ,4 stud with a 50 offset.according to the place i was in yesterday that offset is very high i will find it extremely hard to find wheels in ireland .they will rub off the arches because of the offset apparently.

anyone have any wheels like this ,or know of anybody who does wheels that would fit

    thanks
    metz

A high offset like 50 means that the wheel goes quite far 'into' the wheel arch as you look at the wheel from the side of the car. Your car obviously needs such an offset to clear the wheelarch. Most cars however have quite a large tolerance or clearance to play with and there would be for instance a lot of alloys with a offset of 45 which means that the alloy would be sticking 'out' 5mm further. Generally the lower the offset, the better the car looks as it takes a wider stance.

Wheel width can also affect arch clearance but how that relates with offset i am unsure about.

Here is an example of a car lowered onto low offset wheels. If you look closely he has even fitted tyres narrower than the wheels so that the tyre walls are pulled in for more clearance:p

thanks for the info ,ive a very big bit of room between he arch and the tyre so i never thought there was any such problem,i have 15s on at the mo which are smiths wheels and apparently this company is gone now ..bt i want too upgrade too a bigger size
its a honda inspire,i have found some other old hondas accords ,preludes, legends, integras and a civic have the same offset .so there has to be some one or somewhere in ireland that i can get wheels

Very doubtful as this is the equivalent of the ubiquitous BMW drivers' post "I drive a 3 series, where will I get tyres to fit it?".
    ... fitment is 114.3 ,4 stud with a 50 offset...
This is the correct way to specify wheels, although some additionl information is required.

This may prove helpful - http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg4.html in sourcing appropriate wheel / tyre combinations that will fit, be safe and not throw the speedo out.
