Green Party 'Think-in' at Leighlinbridge

Caught the end of piece on RTE radio this morning about the Green Party 'think-in' at Leighlinbridge, Co.Carlow. Seems a strange choice for a meeting of Greens given the poor public transport links from other parts of Ireland? Travelling to the event by rail from anywhere else in the country bar Waterford and Dublin would be circuitious and involve at least one change of train and then taxi (?) from Bagenalstown station. However, a comment during the piece about the economy by Green TD Mary White was quite revealing when she said that people were worried about their mortgages as they set out on the motorway for Dublin to work each morning. Say no more! Goodbye Greens and switch off the lights on the way out.

Incidentally, has anybody heard if Ciaran Cuffe aka the Minister for Closing Down Railways has made a speech at the conference yet?

This is not the forum for Green Party-bashing. Take it to Politics if you wish.
