this is sort of hard to explain, but i will try me best :) When you get a sms you can view it in full screen with any other message from the recipient. The end of the text message can open with the keyboard if you want to reply. There is times when I might hit by mistake , it will open up giving me half keyboard & half…

Is there a way to revert back to full screen without exiting the sms?

I have the same problem some times .

TBH, I don't think there's any way to hide the keyboard other than exiting the SMS thread. The iPad has a key to hide the keyboard whenever you want, but this has not made it over to the iPhone unfortunately.
