Chrome still seems to be running sharper for me.

Hows IE 9 going for the rest of ye?

I'll probably give IE 9 a go just to see what it's like. Can't imagine switching over from Chrome though, it does the business for me.

IE9 is still in Beta, so it's likely to be very rough.

Wait for the full version before comparing.

It started off being faster but now I feel there is no difference between IE 8 and IE9

I have since changed my video drivers and have seen an improvement.

Looks good to me. Liked what I have seen till now. Right direction for IE. Dont use Chrome much, Firefox all the way for me :)

Just installed IE9 this evening. Its running smooth enough. I can't get used to favourites/history on the right. Is there an option to change this?

I didn't think it felt as fast as Chrome.
