    Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this question in. Basically, my dog bit through the chord you pull to start up my petrol powered lawnmower, so it's effectively useless for the time being.

Is this a costly/relatively inexpensive thing to have replaced?

And could I do it myself were I to get the right part?

    I don't think it's that expensive...

usually there is someone (usually in a shed) in every town who fixes lawnmowers..this would be your best bet..

I'd be suprised if it cost more than a tenner! Not sure though..

    Did ya try googling it?
Sometimes you find videos showing you how to do it?

    Good Luck with fixing it..
