Edirol R09 Voice recorder won't accept large capacity micro SD's

I purchased one of these SH and put a 4GB SD card (Micro inside a standard SD) and it won't recognise it.

I gather that the item was made when the largest size card was under 2GB. Is there anyone here that is familiar with these devices and would know how or if they can be flashed to accept larger SD cards?

There is Firmware i believe - contact Roland or their tech support - they will be able to say if it can go upto 4gig.

there's maybe something not right here. I've been using one of these puppies pretty much since they were released and have used 4GB SDHC cards all along.

It is possible that the pre HR version of the Edirol may have had that limitation or maybe I was just lucky? Dunno.
