Mvision HD 300 Combo rs 232 port to ethernet adapter ?

    Has anyone with a Mvision Hd 300 combo got the rs 232 port to work with a rs 232 to ethernet adapter.

    Why would you use a serial port to ethernet ????

    I have only heard/used of the normal null modem cable and the r232 to USB cable to flash a box.

    If you have killed the box the ethernet port probably wouldnt work anyhow!

    To force a flash use a null modem cable.

    Do you mean RS232 to USB adaptor? If so yes they work well, but you only need a USB memory stick to update the Mvision

    I want to use it for home streaming as I have installed the the latest firmware which is the same as the Mvision HD 300 Combo Net which has an ethernet port
