How about an off topic thread? I noticed there's one in the UCC forum and it seems to work out well. Sounds like a great idea to me.

Does anyone know what that weird noise in Quinn was on Tuesday at lunchtime? Was just after the fire alarm went off.

This is like going for a cold beer after work with my workmates.
Except in this case, I don't like any of my co-workers...

I was helping at the arts guide desk the other day.
The amount of people who asked where Lart, Qart, Mart, etc. were was surprisingly high.

No because I don't think the shoos will have enough material to do a decent gig.

I finally finished by life long goal of having a lecture in every building in UCD with a workshop in Roebuck castle yesterday. I can die happy now. On another matter, Roebuck is really confusing to find your way around with really bad signage and the place is really starting to show its age

Yeah I had to go to Roebuck castle before as well and it is a nightmare to find your way around. Have to arrive very early for whatever meeting / lab you have just to find your way around lol :P

I broke my Blackboard, where/who do I go to get it fixed?

(on My Blackboard tab, the my course list was showing " Error processing request: TypeError: Object required" but you could go to the Courses tab and see them there, but then I tried to reorder the courses, but now i am getting the same error message :o )

I have the same problem. Go to courses beside it and you can get what you need.

    Don't know what you're talking about. Science has A, B, C, D, E and F anyway. C isn't missing.

I would assume the other lecture theatres are in different buildings anyway.

I can't understand why the Restaurant football pitch was sacrificed for a car park. That's two pitches gone from that part of campus in the last 5 years! Car parks should be built underground!

The ucd campus development site shows what appears to be a new soccer pitch going in between the new ring road and the bus stops area, where the old gaa pitch was.

Yep my blackboard keeps logging me out when i click on blackboard tab.Whats up with that?!
On another note how are others coping with essays? I have an essay due in 10 days or so and have started it but am finding it difficult to get it structured right, plus i have 4 other essays due in 4ish weeks, trying to get started on them, have done my 'mind maps' and stuff but how to start the bloomin things i dont know......why do they insist on giving essays to us that all have to be in same day? Nervous breakdown here i come.:)
I just keep telling myself all the stress will be worth it in the end.......thats if we are out of recession by the time graduation comes along. Pull your finger out Brian Cowen ;)
