Urrgh Madbull blue hops, they are the foulest thing I've been asked to install, the feckin' nub is too big and you need thousands of rounds to bed it in and it's just a kick in the hole really. Try fitting one of those into an Element plastic hop up chamber, takes fecking ages...
Guarder clear - never stop being so awesome.

He is talking about the 3 in 1 hop-up chamber, not the blue rubber.

Jim, I don't use M4s myself, but a mate of mine does, and he swears by the 3 in 1 chamber (With or without the tracer unit).

Well that was in case he planned on using the included hop up rubber...

The blue rubber is amazing with .25's fyi, no need to add hop or very little maintains a decent fps and hop-up, you get stupid range out of a fresh one.

Thanks guys, nice info all round, :D

So i'm thinking go for the 3-in-1 chamber but when the rubber needs replacing but get the blue madbull one?

I use .20's but i've been thinking about changing to .25's, just need to sit in the woods and test it all out :D

Thanks again guys, any further comments would also be appreciated.

One of the lads got one of those recently and installed it in a VFC PDW. It didn't work very well for him at all. He went back to the original vfc hop up chamber.

Then again, it may just depend on the aeg it is installed in.

as far as i'm aware VFC hopups are completely different to other AEG's, not 100% on that tho.

Have a PDW so i'll try it out, think i'll go for it, nothing to lose really, lol after nearly a year i'm finally figuring out this sport is mostly about trial and error and just having the patience to test gear out.

To be honest, I am not sure about the style of unit in a VFC PDW. But, I was under the impression that it was a standard M4 style hop up.

But, suppose if you are willing to give it a try, then why not. :)

The problem with the Madbull blues is they are very soft and wear down with use, I got maybe 3-4 games of blistering performance and then just so-so performance since as it wore down.

I'd invest in a harder bucking next time, but I will still want that hop-up effect even when hop is turned off that you got with the madbull blues.

I bought my self two of the units, one tracer and the other a non-tracer version and I can't say I was blown away by the performance of either.

Because of the wheel design, they hold the adjustments very well but I can't say that the hop effect was any better than on any other unit that I've used. The tracer is decent but not a whole pile more than that, a marui or maui clone probabaly does out perform it.

I'd also agree with the previous posters about the blue rubber that comes with the unit, I did notice a difference in the bb speed with an increase of between 0.1 and 0.15J when I put in the guarder clear.

I think the VFC ones are just a very hard rubber.

I got one about a month ago, just the 3in1 not the tracer part. As with other reviews i had to sand down the wing part of the chamber so it would fit in the gun. Also the blue rubber is larger than others and was a tight fit. The chamber increased my fps by about 5 fps compared to my original gng chamber. The main reason why i got it was for the wheel to adjust the hop. It works a treat and better than any of my normal m4 chambers. A bit of work needs to go into it but works really well after that. Would get one for all my m4's if i had the dosh! :) Hope this helps!
