PaintDoctor - Very, very impressed

My father clipped a kerb last week in his car. The front is quite low so the bumper got it. Not badly or anything but it was annoying him and he wanted it sorted. This is it:

Knowing the usual crap with body shops he wasn't keen on having to drop the car in early in the morning, making his way to work then making it back before they closed to pick it up. So he made contact with PaintDoctor about getting it looked at. In addition to this there was a few stone chips and some marks from briars on the other corner. Basically he was looking for an entire bumper respray.

He got his quote (about half what I paid for something similar 3 years ago) and agreed a time. He took my sisters car to work and left his own parked up as it's a mobile service. This is the result:

He's absolutely delighted with the work done. Great service:D

Can someone quote a ballpark figure for this type of repair? I know of a certain family that have similar marks caused by a puppy on 3 spots of 3 cars..

    All in €150+VAT

That's pretty good value by any standards

Looks like good work done. Anyone have good suggestions for similar in Dublin? - I got a bad scratch across corner of bonnet into left wing and its been staring at me for a year now and want to get it done.

Went to Dennings (as listed by insurer) and they were coming in at over €500 on the official quote for insurer. Am guessing there are cheaper guys out there that can do as good a job - or maybe if I go back to Dennings and tell them I am paying now instead of insurer I may get a better price??

    Thanks

Using my astounding car knowledge, I can tell you that's a 2008 Ford Mondeo Titanium X 2.0i - standard petrol, before they changed the engine to Flexi-Fuel ;)

Can you tell that from the shade of the colour and the code on the lens?

Thanks a million for the praise guys, was really really nervous about the first time a boardsie would do a before/after review of my work. I'm still only in business over a year, so I genuinely appreciate everything said on here.

    He's also mobile.
Did some work for me last year - cracking job.

Really nice work Paintdoctor. If I'm ever in Cork and even at your great prices you need to put your kids through college I'll be looking you up. :)

My Passat is starting to get a bit stonechipped (and being black really shows it) on right wing. Been considering getting something done about it for a while now.

Oh general question, a few rust spots have started to appear on some of the places where the paint has been chipped.. can this be fixed?

I've PaintDoctor added on facebook and I've been seeing these results popping up regularly.

Always looks good and always impressive. Its good to see his prices are as good as his work
