    Hi Guys,

Qucik Question for you. I share a computer with a few works mates.
We all visit web sites in work( not seedy ).
When we go into delete the history after we've been browsing it seems to work. We go to Tools IN delete cookies history etc etc.

Yet when we go back in for example and it www.f
    Facebook comes up.

How does this happen??? and how can i stop it happening.
    Any help will be great?

The reason I ask is that some like Chrome or newer versions of Firefox (IIRC) can do a search of the internet for what it thinks you may be going to and returning popular results rather than it being anything to do with your web history.

Just tell everyone to do their work in an incognito window (in Chrome) and IE has InPrivate browsing which wont save any of your search history or cookies.

    Instructions for both below:

    hey gang,
Looks the my original question is off the mark.
When i go to tools and the opt to set my home page >there is a list of addresses there from previous visits which I cannot delete and one of the guys thinks this the problem as it has only happened recently.

    Any ideas?

Won't clearing the cache, and deleting all cookies fix that problem? Then, when that's done, start operating with Chrome and disable web history.
