talk to the accom office in college, tehre's a help facility in college. Keep on to halls, you never know, I know people who got last minute offers. talk to bythewoods, see what she did last year.,I know she got halls at the last minute after living in UCD.

    Yessum.

I sent them an email entitled "ACCOMMODATION EMERGENCY!" and explained that:
-I got 3rd round offers after being in UCD.
-I lived a 3 hour commute from Dublin so had no real option but to move up.
-I complimented Halls. I'd heard how "student friendly" etc it was.
-I told them I had no other real option- no friends/family in Dublin
    -Groveled.
    -Begged.

The year before, one of my friends did the same thing after getting 4th round offers from Trinity (He'd been in UCD for weeks).

Just keep onto them and really plead your case. Add in as many white lies as you think necessary. ;)

You're not going to get a place in Trinity Hall at this stage. If you've someone you can stay temporarily in Dublin for a few days you should come up and visit the Accommodation Advisory Service the SU runs. They've people who'll help you find a place to live in Dublin and a big database of places being let to students.

You'll find it hard getting halls at this stage. Try daft.ie or rent.ie. There's also a notice board on the trinity website that frequently offers good accommodation options

    What about accommodation in NCI?

Try that and bythewoods suggestion of grovelling. I'm sure people pull out before moving up to Halls all the time.

The student union accommodation advisory should be able to help. http://www.tcdsu.org/index.php?s=4&p=217 or contact Steph Fleming, the welfare officer.

Did you see Bythewoods' post? you CAN get halls, and she did, last minute.
OP, try halls again if you want to live there. if not, see the above.

Actually, how much you willing to pay OP? Guy in my class has room going in his place in Rialto for €330 per month. Could pass on his details to ya?

I will try and try halls untill they're sick to death of me !!!! I'm going to hold on to the little hope I have! NCI accom was out of my price range anyways ...like 5 and a half grand! 330 is reasonable! Ya please do! :)

Go to the Accommodation Office ASAP and fill out a form to move in early, giving your reasons. If accepted, you'll have to pay rent and utilities for the extra days.

Also, congratulations on getting a room!
