I'v started wearing lipstick lately but it my lips often dry, and the lipstick makes this more obvious. I use blistex hydration all the time, but my lips still get really dry.
Does anyone know a more moiturising lip care product? And is there such a thing as a lip exfoliator?

I think Benefit do a lip scrub for exfoliating, but I much prefer the trick of using an old clean toothbrush to get rid of the dry skin on your lips!

If your lips are really dry, look out for the nivea lip balms. They do some that are great for moisture repair and your lips are good as new after only a couple of days.

I sometimes mix lipstick and vaseline together before applying; it does give more of a glossy finish but my lips don't dry out too quickly that way :)

I use blistex hydration too and I find it great! :) I also like Carmex and palmers lip balm!

I find sometimes you need to exfoliate your lips. Mine get super dry, painful and cracked over the Winter time especially. I get a tooth brush and run it along my lips to take away any excess skin and just keep smoothing balm over my lips to keep them as balmed up for as long as possible!

Nothing beats Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip balm, its got aha's that exfoliate chemically and it works like a miracle. Its really expensive (about 15 euro) but it'll last all winter.

I used to use either Carmex or Palmers lip cocoa butter and I thought they were really good, but they're rubbish compared to this.

I can't rate this highly enough really.:)

Andrea Garland lip balm is another great one I got it for a Christmas present last year and fell in love with stuff. My lips feel supple and soft after I apply it, this thread has reminded me to get some more :)

LOVE Clinique's Repairwear for lips; absolutely unreal, even works for wind burnt lips. Pricey but so worth it.

I use Neutrogena's Immediate Lip Repair and find it great. Lasts ages too.

Thanks for all the replies! Tried the toothbrush trick, my lips feel great! I definitely need something to keep them in good shape though. Might be worth spending a few bob, my lips are quiet "prominent" if you will, I should take care of them!

Kiehl's lip balm - using it for the last ten years and I've tried a few other things but nothing is as good. Not sticky, doesn't disappear like vaseline, and doesn't have a strong smell. Lasts for ages too.

I'd be a +1 for the carmex. It doesn't have a nice taste but its great for dry lips. Also, another way to exfoliate would be to get a teaspoon of olive oil, add some sugar and rub on your lips! That's just my preferred method. Hope your lips get better:)
