Anyone know where you can get Thierry Mugler perfume in ireland? In particular his new fragrance "Alien". I got a free sample of it when I was in Sephora in France and have since fallen in love with it! I want it!!

Yes you can. I've seen it in house of frasier. I've seen it else where also, but can't remember where.

Its also easy (and cheaper) to get it online! Its available on strawberrynet.ie

Oh thanks! I've never bought perfume online, I'm always a bit dubious that I'll get something watered down or similar - does anyone have any experience with this website?

I had a look in Boots last week and didn't see it - I've a load of points on my card and have been saving them up to buy something nice, so was going to treat myself to this.

A lot of chemists have it and if it is a perfume you want to get again you can get it in a refillable bottle. Its around 60 eoro and the refills about 30 euro. I can pick it up and hope it in the post to you if you want. I have not seen it in our local boots but some of the large ones would maybe have it.

They're really handy! When you buy the first bottle, try to get a refillable one. Then when it's finished, you can unscrew the top and just pour in the refill. They come without an atomiser & a little funnel so that you don't spill it. Usually in a larger size than the original bottle, and better value.

Another vote for Strawberrynet, that's where I buy my Alien :)

The place I get mine has a huge big tank that they do the refills from. You just take in the bottle and they fill her up again!!!

All of the Thierry Mugler perfumes are available in refillable version. Their new perfume 'Womanity'(fab btw) only comes in a refillable version. You can buy refill bottles or have them refilled in store from a dispensing tank. Both cost less than a new bottle but orginally the refillable bottle will cost slightly more. Only 'Angel Innocent' is not refillable from a dispensing tank, not in Ireland anyway, and ggetting a refill bottle of this is difficult. As stated previously, most Boots and Debenhams stock the Mugler fragrances, but they are distributed by the same agency as Clarins in this country so anywhere that has a Clarins counter will most likely sell the Mugler fragrances(unless it's a very small outlet). Outlets with refill dispensers are less common but the plan is for these to be installed in a lot more outlets over the coming few months; they got one in Boots Liffey Valley recently. Originally these dispensing tanks were solely for 'Angel' but they now have capability for the other Mugler fragrances also.

Look out for Womanity if you see it; it really is gorgeous, especially if you like a woody fragrance.

The Perfume Shop will definitely have Alien. Not sure about the rest of his range, but you never know. Clerys too, if you're in Dublin.
