€80k - What would you buy? (I don't have €80k so not one of those threads)

I happened to see my first ever X6 in the flesh yesterday and my god is it butt ugly. I was wondering how much money did someone waste on it. Turns out around €80k according to carzone.

That got me to thinking what could I get for €80k (Not that I have anything close to it - Could probably stretch to €80!!!)

I wouldn't go for anything brand new but would probably look for a number of older vehicles such as:

1. Ferrari 355 (Approx €30k before VRT of maybe €10k max)

The total comes to about €80k give or take and I would have a lot more fun with €80k spent on the above than €80k on an ugly as hell jeep/coupe (I don't know what it is)

Fly to Japan. Hand pick my R34 GTR from auction. Ship it home. Probably still have quite a bit of change left over.

But many x6 are commercial which makes them alot cheaper. Very ugly but probably bordering on acceptable for some people given commercial tax, reduced price, vat back & great performance.

It would be pretty tough to get a English GTR cleared for €80K.... That one there is probably a jap version and I'm told there's no fecking way to have them translated into English!!!!

€80k may not be enough, but after seeing the black maserati gran turismo at the cannoball run it would have to be one of them,
my god it was gorgeous, it stood out amongst everything else there,
and the red leather interior looked brilliant!!

As an everyday car I'd have a jag XF 3.0tdvi with a few toys and then an old MX5 with BBR turbo conversion and an LSD, that would make me quite happy!!!!
