WTC Bombing 1993, FBI Involvement.

This is one of the news stories that got me thinking after 9/11, how the FBI supplied the explosives to the manufactured terrorist's and then let the bomb go off.
They didn't realise the Informer/Instigator was taping the call's and he pulled them out in court one day.

Paper Says FBI Blocked Plan to Foil N.Y. Blast
Tape recordings secretly made by an FBI informer reveal that authorities were in a far better position than previously known to foil the Feb. 26 bombing of New York's tallest towers, the New York Times reported.
The New York Times published conversations the informer, a 43-year-old former Egyptian army officer, Emad Ali Salem, taped with his FBI handlers.

Secret tape recordings

After the bombing, the FBI quickly rehired Salem and promised to pay him a million dollars to develop evidence of additional terrorist plots. Because Salem did not trust the government to pay up, he secretly recorded his conversations with FBI agents. In August, as the case was heading for trial, news leaked that Salem had made tapes of more than a hundred hours of his conversations with FBI agents and handlers. The tape transcripts were not helpful to the prosecution.

i just had a skim through it there.

okay the gist of it is an fbi informant infiltrated a gang and informed the fbi that they were planning on targeting several sites across the city.

informant was pulled from the job six months prior to the explosion.

he built the bomb because he was undercover and meant to be working for the gang(i dont really get the explosive headline for that one)

they had a plan to substitute the explosive powder for safe powder as a way to thwart the bomb going off.

okay so they knew that some people were plotting attacks and ultimately left it too long to maybe try andeither get more info from them or catch them in the act so to speak.

so the conspiracy theory is that they somehow wanted the trade centre to be bombed

it looks more like a failure of intelligence rather than a conspiracy

like i said i jut skimmed through it but i didnt see anything to suggest this

how the FBI supplied the explosives to the manufactured terrorist's

thats not to say its not in there i might have missed it.

seems like theres a little bit of dot joining to be done on this one
