Have you ever had an affair?

Have you ever had an affair, especially if it was only for the sex and both parties knew that it wasn't going to lead to everlasting love or that either party was going to leave their spouse?

Have you ever had an affair just for the excitement - is it possible to do this and not hurt your marriage?

Is this a relationship issue for you OP? If it's just to ask other people for their opinions then I'll move the thread to humanities.

    Impossible.
I'm kinda shaking my head here.. how would you think anything otherwise?
You would be breaking a bond of trust and intimacy with your OH which is dang near unforgivable.

If your looking for excitement, take up white water rafting ..

If you love your OH, spice things up a little and make it exciting with them.

Only if both parties agree to it, i.e. where you have an open marriage.

I'm presuming you're looking for justification/support as to why starting an affair is a good idea. It never is. It invariably causes hurt, pain and never ends well.

Are you and another person on the brink of starting an affair?
