I thinking of buying an 8 or 9 year old 3 series coupe at the moment. Most on sale have mileage between 80000-100000. In peoples experiences how do these models hold up after high mileage and what else should I be looking out for before parting with my money?

You should get one for less than €4000, don't give anyone any more for one.
