I'm not sure you will get a new body with H&K trades. I think Umarex have the rights to produce H&K replicas sewn up, but I'm not sure if that only applies to complete AEGs or to all component parts as well.

If it helps at all I think Eirsoft have a VFC HK416 with trades they will be selling in the not too distant future.

yeah the agm and jg are plastic fantastic bodies, and two piece hop unit, if you however, replace the hop unit too, i don't see any reason it wont fit. Other than that, its pretty standard.

i just bought an agm one so dont think ill be buying another 416 :p but thanks anyway.
@firekitten my one has a metal body but with crap trades. What do u mean by two piece hop up? The one in mine is a grey/ see through plastic unit.
When i googled it people were sayin that the jg/dboys/agm front rails were diferent or something.

two piece hopup is where the body has a feed nipple and lip for the air nozzle screwed to the lower reciver, and the hopup is in the barrel/upper, and was the style tm used... remember the hinged receiver?

Ok... front rail is possibly different, but both attach to the body via a screw and nut, regardless of type, looking at both, and ive had a lot of agm/jg types infront of me, i can't see any reason why it wont fit.

The rails on the AGM 416 are slighty larger than others. Some RIS stuff is a little difficult to get on.

The clear plastic hop isn't to bad (at least not on mine) but I did place a little washer on the wheel to to tighten the turn a little.

thanks johnny. So basicaly if i get a body ill have to get a ris to match it?
@ firekitten. Ive little to no experience with aeg internals as all ive ever taken apart is my g&g m4 plastica to change the hopup rubber :p

The foregrip on the 416 should have 4 rails already on it.

In my experince, these rails are a maybe a mm wider than most accessories so it have be a little difficult to get them on.... but it is possible to get them on.

The rails on the new body souldn't look any different to the foregrip as the differance is tiny.

Your limited experince dealing with the hop up rubber of the G&G is enough to get you by in this case. As far as I know the G&G has a one piece hop up. If you replace the AGM body with a say, a Dboys one the same type of hop up unit sould fit it.

yeah it has a ris already but from old posts i found on google it sounded like there was massive diferences between all the makes :rolleyes.
I know where theres an src body so if i get that it should do? Ive no idea what type of hopup is in it but i could find out later

As far as I know, and I'm open to correction on this, there are 2 types of M4 style hop up unit. If you get a new body which takes a one piece hop up it's as simple a job to change it.

Simple as when you changed the hop up rubber

If you get a body that takes a two piece hop then it's much simplier cos you just slide the barrel back in....
