Winter residency on sand based cobblelock driveway

Unfortunatley I don't have a garage for my classic, so its going to spend the long cold winter months resting on my sand based cobblelock drive. I do have a great all weather breathable car cover but it only covers the exterior and not the underbody. Should I put a plastic/pvc membrane (like the ones used for shrubberies!) underneath held down by all four tyres to stop underbody corrosion - is there any point, will it actually help stop rust?

Other great ideas welcome.... bar ; build yourself a garage / move to hotter a climate :)

I just imported a vintage vehicle but due to an injury the garage I planed on building will not be ready this year so mine will be sat on 804 hardcore for the winter as well unless I find a local barn.

    My Plan B
Waxyol the whole car in next 2 weeks
    Buy a gazebo with sides
    Heavy duty ground sheet

Plan C - Outdoor Car Capsule

There was one of those capsules for sale the other day - spotted it on donedeal or adverts but cant find it now - It was keenly priced so may have sold already.
