Barnett signs with Strikeforce

Josh Barnett officially signed with Strikeforce yesterday, which really boosts there HW division in terms of talent and possible match ups. I know he hasn't been relevant for since pissing hot for the third time and killing Affliction in the process, but he is a legitimate contender to any heavyweight title. I'd love to see him in the ring with Kharitonov (if Kharitonov of old ever shows his face again), Overeem, Werdum and obviously Fedor. A fight with Arlovski or Big Foot could also be interesting.

Unfortunately, Strikeforce seem to have forgotten about their heavyweight division at the moment and, when they do book fights, they have a knack of ballsing it up. It will be interesting to see who they match him up against first. Although he logically should get at least a warm-up fight, I think a fight with Fedor could be potentially his first (and maybe Fedor's last) with the promotion. Coker's already been stung in trying to 'build' fights and fighters, so there is a possibility they'll just go balls to the wall and make one of the most longly sought after fights in MMA.
