In relation to the grant, am i supposed to bring a letter from the council to registration to prove that I am getting it? I've paid the 85 and sent GF1 form in. Any answers would be appreciated

I brought mine to the fees office last year and they photocopied it. Bring it in to em as soon as you get it.

If you have the letter, you've to bring it.

If they haven't yet confirmed you're getting the grant, according to the Fees Office, as long as you have submitted the form to say that the council are paying it (I *think* it's the FRS2 form), you'll be grand. Bring the grant confirmation to the Fees Office once you get it, in this case.:)
