    Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help, I am doing a furniture restoration course and am looking for projects. I have psoed on Jumble town and freecycle but nothing yet. Does anyone know if there is a web site that lists auction that are on around the country. I have checked the forums on Boards.ie.

If anyone has any unwanted pieces in the Galway area, i would be happy to take them off your hands.
    Thanks
    Sean

My advice on Jumbletown - it is best probably to actually look and see what is being offered, rather than put in a request for something. There are lots of pieces on offer but timing is important. Keep checking the site very regularly and you might find better luck.

    Hi Centre half

I'm doing the course in Galway City, every Wednesday evening, €40 per session. It is done on a week by week basis. Dependent on where you re in the country there are a number of couses run each year, alot in Dublin. Just google antique restoration classes and the majority should come up. Most are run on a 10 week basis coinciding with the regular school terms.

if you are in Galway, let me know and I will geiv to contact details.

    Hope this helps
    Sean

    Thanks seanog2ie,
I'm closer to the Dublin area to be honest, I must check it out and see. 10 week course sounds very good.
