Saw this DVD last night. It's not really about Banksy though which kind of shows he uses his name to make film because he knows it would sell. Fair nuff.

It was a great insight into the 'what is art' argument though, by graffiti artists and one crazy/genius non-artist.

Oh I totally view Banksy as the main man, an artist with exceptional work, craft and attitude. It was the main guy, Thierry, in the DVD who undermined THAT art, by employing artists to create his vision because he could not. It leaves a sour taste to think that he has made a success out of it.

I picked up his book 'Wall and Piece' in hmv at the weekend. It's only 12 quid.

I have this too. I've looked through three quarters of it but haven't finished it because I didn't want it to end.
    ...

I probably will now though. Now that I've remembered I have it.!

It was on boards I first heard of banksy and I generally would not be a lover of grafitti as most of it isn't easy on the eye. Banksy is a different deal, I love his ideas, he transforms bland walls into eyecatching art! Even a small piece of work on a large wall is shouting out, an can't be missed.

He always brings a smile or even makes me question modern living!

    I like him:D
