Timms vs Barret

    Heard Ian Timms cannot get anybody to fight for Irish Cruiserweight Title So i hear he is moving up to Heavyweight would love to see him fight Coleman Barret for Irish Title maybe on the Willie Casey bill !

    Not a bad fight for down the line. Awful pity Tims-sweeney never materialised due to bad timing.

    yes it was a real pity Timms got injured but it was a let up for Michael Sweeney he isnt a cruiserweight and Timms would be too big and strong for him i think Sweeney is better off staying at Lightheavy.
    As for Timms he is running out of time and i think even though he is the smaller man with Barret i think Timms would stop him he seems to have a weak chin as he showed against Colin Kenna and although Timms is not the biggest of punchers i have been watching him work out in Collins gym and Paschal has him turning with his shots and he is punching so much harder so for that reason would love to see him fight anyone soon.
