    How often does a chimney need to be cleaned?

    We have a Riva stovax 40 closed fire unit, burning wood mostly. Produces very little soot and ash, so not sure how often we need to get ours done.

    I think its between €40-€50 well worth it in my opinion as its dangerous not getting it done, could cause a fire..

    I know of this guy in Clonlara whose wife does everything thing around the house..... I could PM you her number, as I'm sure she probably sweeps chimneys.

    It's recommended that you clean your chimney at least once a year.
