    looking for about 30 gb every 4 weaks and that will work on the ps3

    30GB for 26 euro with 3, if your going to go for it get the B260a router if your going to be using it with the console it also has the best reception.
    For online gaming you should really have a fixed line broadband if you can.

    Getting any kind of 3G Internet access is not likely to improve that, especially for gaming.

    Your speed is bad, and this may or may not be any better with 3G. Your ping is poor, though far better than any 3G offering will ever be.

    Try it and see, is about all you can do.

    What's 3G again? I thought 3G was mobile phone WAP?

    ive a 30gb a month on 3 for 26 quid, and its alrite tbh, but for gaming its not the best, pings rarely ever below 70, but i get at least 1mb up/down and on less busy tmes of the day can go about 3/1 down/up... but the pings always around the 80 mark, works grand for the average joe, but heavy gamers/downloading is not as good alrite

    3g is the same shizzle phones use yes... some companies are selling midband as broadband over 3g connections, a farce really
