Advice on Psychotherapy

    Hi Everybody just a few questions about a course im considering doing,The course is three years in psychotherapy and its with ATI and is in DCU.Can anybody tell me any information on ATI as a college and also what my prospects would be like after three years training,Would this be a good career in the current econimical climate for someone approaching forty

    Generally, the courses in AIT are smaller than those in DCU, so it's usually far more intimate with the lecturer, and easier for 1-to-1 chats with your lecturers.

    AIT as a college wholly is very impressive, especially in recent years. Clean and easy to navigate around, and not so big that'd you get totally lost in it :D

    As for job opportunities, I wouldn't be 100% clear on it, but the way things stand you'd have more of a chance with a decent job in that line of work than Engineering, for example.

    Im actually looking to do the course myself, but I won't get a grant again so it's on the back burner until I can sort out the finances, blasted recession.
