Looking for tips or reference material on how to repair a newly constructed internal insitu concrete formwork. This is for a fireplace / chimney breast. Original formwork constructed was poor. Need to know if it is repairable, or if it needs to be redone by demolishing existing structure & rebuilding. Thx.

    Patching/rubbing up? kango?

It's hard to say without actually seeing what the poor work looks like - is it bendy/wobbly, does it have holes in it, etc, etc?

On rereading your post I presume you want to repair the concrete itself, which was poured in situ and with poor formwork, as opposed to repairing the actual formwork itself?
