BTEA Application rejected-any advice?

    Hi folks,

I'm needing some advice in relation to my BTEA application which was refused on the grounds that I already held a qualification greater than the one I was applying for.

I hold a level 8 general business admin degree and at the moment Im doing a fetac level 5 youth work course. As I said in the notes accompanying the application I was using the Youth work course to gain first hand experience with kids/teenagers before undertaking a Post grad in education.

Does anyone known if appealing works as the letter states that while I cant "appeal" I can have my case reviewed by way of a written request.

Has anyone succeeded doing this, any tips for what to include in the written request.

I just want to do it right and increase my chances of approval, being on the dole is pis$ing me off and to get off the register would be great.

    Cheers Gigs.
